REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Last Updated: 28th May 2026

CredWorth operates as a technology facilitation platform that enables Users to create and manage digital mandates and related payment workflows through integrated banking and payment infrastructure providers.

By using the Platform, Users acknowledge and agree that CredWorth does not directly hold User funds, independently process banking transactions, or guarantee payment execution, settlement, or collection outcomes. Payment processing, mandate execution, settlements, debit processing, reversals, and related banking operations are handled through authorized Payment Partners, banks, and applicable UPI/payment infrastructure systems.

Refund eligibility, cancellation handling, reversals, and dispute resolution may therefore depend on the nature of the issue, the stage of processing, applicable banking rules, Payment Partner policies, UPI/payment infrastructure systems, regulatory requirements, and findings of internal or third-party investigations.

Users are responsible for carefully reviewing all mandate details, transaction information, beneficiary details, amounts, frequencies, and authorization instructions before approving or creating any mandate through the Platform. Once a mandate or transaction has been successfully authorized through OTP verification, UPI PIN authorization, banking authentication systems, or other electronic consent mechanisms, such authorization shall be treated as valid consent provided by the User.

CredWorth may assist Users in reporting technical issues, failed transactions, duplicate debits, mandate errors, or unauthorized activity claims where reasonably possible. However, CredWorth does not guarantee refund approval, reversal success, or specific resolution timelines as certain matters may depend on third-party banking systems, payment infrastructure providers, regulatory procedures, or investigation outcomes.

Refunds or reversals may be considered in situations including but not limited to:

Users acknowledge that certain failed mandate attempts, debit failures, retry requests, or mandate bounce events caused due to insufficient account balance, banking declines, or related processing failures may attract applicable service charges, retry handling fees, convenience charges, banking charges, or processing fees, where permitted under applicable laws and partner policies.

Such charges, where applicable, may be communicated during onboarding, transaction initiation, mandate setup, or through updated Platform pricing disclosures. Users authorize CredWorth and/or applicable Payment Partners to levy such applicable charges in connection with failed mandate processing events.

Users are solely responsible for maintaining sufficient account balance and valid banking authorization for successful mandate execution.

* verified duplicate debits;

* failed transactions where funds were debited but mandate execution or processing was unsuccessful;

* technical processing errors directly attributable to Platform-related workflow failures;

* unauthorized activities verified after review and investigation;

* incorrect charges attributable to technical system errors.

Refund requests must generally be raised within a reasonable period from the date of the transaction or occurrence of the issue. Delayed reporting may affect investigation capabilities and refund eligibility.

CredWorth reserves the right to request supporting documents, transaction proofs, screenshots, communication records, identity verification documents, bank statements, or any additional information reasonably necessary for investigation and resolution purposes.

Users acknowledge that CredWorth shall not be responsible for disputes relating to:

* goods or services exchanged between parties;

* invoice disagreements;

* delayed deliveries;

* product quality issues;

* repayment disagreements;

* contractual disputes;

* commercial arrangements between Users;

* business losses arising from underlying Commercial Transactions.

Such disputes must be resolved directly between the concerned parties. CredWorth acts solely as a technology intermediary and is not a party to underlying Commercial Transactions.

Refunds or reversals may not be provided in situations including but not limited to:

* incorrect information entered by the User;

* User negligence;

* insufficient account balance;

* bank-side declines or failures;

* expired mandates;

* payment delays caused by banking infrastructure;

* disputes relating to goods, services, invoices, or commercial arrangements;

* successful service utilization;

* violations of Platform Terms & Conditions;

* suspected fraudulent, suspicious, abusive, or unauthorized activities.

Where refunds are approved, processing timelines may vary depending on banking systems, Payment Partner procedures, UPI/payment infrastructure processing timelines, settlement cycles, compliance reviews, and applicable financial network rules. CredWorth does not guarantee exact timelines for credit reflection in User accounts.

Approved refunds, where applicable, may generally be credited back to the original payment source or account used during the transaction, subject to operational feasibility and applicable financial regulations.

CredWorth reserves the right to:

* reject refund or reversal requests;

* delay processing pending verification;

* recover reversed, disputed, or chargeback amounts;

* suspend accounts or mandates associated with suspicious activities;

* initiate additional compliance reviews where necessary.

In cases involving suspected fraud, misuse, chargeback abuse, unauthorized activities, manipulated transactions, false claims, or violations of applicable laws or Platform policies, CredWorth may report such activities to banks, Payment Partners, regulators, law enforcement agencies, or other authorized authorities.

Users acknowledge that banking systems, payment infrastructure providers, telecom networks, internet services, and third-party technology providers may experience outages, delays, downtime, or operational disruptions beyond CredWorth’s control. CredWorth shall not be liable for losses, delays, failed transactions, or refund processing interruptions arising from such external factors.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, CredWorth’s total liability relating to any refund, reversal, disputed transaction, or related claim shall not exceed the amount of fees actually paid by the User to CredWorth for the relevant service.

CredWorth reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
